As 2025 comes to a close, I wanted to pause and share a few reflections.

This year gave me space to speak openly about wine, not simply as a product, but as a living culture shaped by land, fermentation, time, and human choice. It reminded me why I began this journey in the first place.

Grapes grow in challenging soils, drawing nourishment from the land. Through fermentation, they become wine, something humans have lived alongside for generations.

At its heart, wine invites us to trust our own senses, choose with curiosity, and enjoy each bottle freely. It reconnects us to nature, to people, and to place.

As I look toward 2026, my focus continues to take shape: to live with nature, craft honest and enduring wines, and explore how these ideas may grow beyond Napa, especially in Korea and across Asia.

In late December, I shared many of these reflections in a long form conversation on 3PRO TV (삼프로TV). A short excerpt is linked below for those who may be curious.
